Challenge: One distribution circuit had among the highest fault and protection operation rates in the service territory, causing repeated customer outages.
Approach: I ran a root cause analysis, found the underlying design problems, and put corrective system changes in place.
Result: Protection operations on that circuit dropped to among the lowest in the territory.
